David Doyle
CEO

As founder and CEO of CRT Medical Systems, Inc., David brings nearly 30 years of experience in designing, developing and deploying Medical IT systems. With degrees in Computer Science and a strong understanding of the Medical Office business model, David has been able to bring "useable" technology to the medical office environment.

David's unique insight into what the basic problems of billing are within a Medical office has allowed CRT Medical Systems, Inc. to develop a billing system for billers. David has sought input of what makes a good billing system from billers and office managers through out Michigan. CRT Medical Systems, Inc. has also listened to its customers to understand their needs and wants. This is why our billing system is considered one of the user-friendliest yet powerful applications on the market today.

David continues to look into what other applications in the market place can be utilized in medical offices to improve efficiency and productivity. Recently David authored a white paper, which is available through our download section, on the merits on outsourcing your medical billing. This paper has been reviewed by independent consultants who have concluded that it's objective and logical insight are solid reasons for using outsourcing. David has been a featured guest speaker for many organizations on the topic of medical billing systems and service options.

Dennis Blakeley, Vice President Marketing & Business Development

Dennis Blakeley
Vice President
Marketing & Business Development

Dennis has nearly 30 years experience in the medical practice management and billing software industry. Prior to joining the CRT Medical Systems, Inc. team, Dennis was the founder and CEO of Medical Software Solutions Inc., a Michigan based provider of billing and software systems used by medical practices throughout Michigan. Over nearly two decades, Dennis grew this firm from the ground up to become one of the premier providers of billing and practice management software in Michigan. Dennis attributes his success to his complete commitment to customer service and satisfaction and he brings that same level of commitment with him to CRT Medical Systems, Inc. Dennis' considerable experience with in house billing systems has lead him to believe outsourcing is a better solution for most providers.

Dennis believes that due to the constantly changing environment, customers who purchase systems are faced with a continual stream of upgrades to both their software and hardware. These upgrades are expensive and disruptive. The server a practice purchases with the intent of using for 7 or more years often needs to be replaced in 2 or 3. The same holds true for the operating system, workstations and related software products. Dennis believes these problems will continue for the foreseeable future. "As technology advances, practice management companies are forced to develop software to run on these new technologies in order to attract new clients. This strategy almost always works against the vendor's existing clients. Existing clients are often forced to upgrade hardware, software, and retrain their staffs in order to stay current. Vendor support for these "older" systems often begins to deteriorate much more quickly than the practice expected at the time of purchase." There always seems to be reasons for these required upgrades. In the last 3 years we have already had Y2K, HIPAA, and the introduction of Windows as a replacement for Unix. I see similar changes occurring over the next decade. Wireless, additional HIPAA issues, LINUX, Citrix /Virtual Private Networks are all probable precursors to the next round of forced upgrades."
